Erg Chebbi Desert tour From Marrakech
Join us for the wonderful 3 Days Marrakech to Erg Chebbi Desert for a nice experience that joins too much exploration including the walking tour around the Ait Benhaddou Kasbahs, the Morocco tour of the Amredil Kasbah at Skoura, Valley of Roses, and overnight at Dades Valley.
Itinerary:
Day1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura – Dades
After Breakfast in your Riad/Hotel, we will head southeast for the 3 days Marrakech to Erg Chebbi Desert Tour that will take us to the deep south of Morocco. We will drive through the majestic mountains of High Atlas with its Berber Villages built in adobe and stones. We will cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) and have a walking tour of the Ait Benhaddou Village that has been used as a backdrop for shooting a number of Hollywood movies including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, and much more. Drive through Ouarzazate and visit the well-preserved Kasbah of Amredil, Valley of Roses to end up our day at the Dades Valley.
Day2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi
In the morning, we will resume our journey to stretch our legs at the Todra Gorges or Canyons raising for hundreds of meters and have been an attraction to mountain climbers. The Gorge of Todra is penetrated by the overflowing river of Todra with its lush palm valley. Drive through Erfoud before getting to the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi, where you will have the camel ride for a journey of around 2 hours through the vast and high pure sand dunes to the desert camp. Dinner will be served followed by some time of entertainment.
Day3: Erg Chebbi – Alnif – Nkob – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Early wake up in the morning, to our Morocco Desert Tour, to attend the miraculous panoramic view of sunrise over the sand dunes. Get back to the hotel by camel to freshen up before driving back to Marrakech through the Anti-Atlas, Alnif, Nkob, Ouarzazate, and the High Atlas Mountains. In the evening we will drop you off at your designated accommodation.
