Agadir Morocco’s Southern Atlantic Coast
Agadir Morocco the white city by the Sea, Climatically spoiled, located in a wide bay with a wide sandy beach, the fertile Sous plain as the hinterland, against the backdrop of the foothills of the High Atlas, is an ideal starting point to discover and love Morocco to learn. The weather in Agadir Morocco is pretty good.
Morocco’s southwest is a region of sharp contrasts
Worlds lie between the modern seaside resort and the interior, with its mud-walled – seemingly untouched by time – trading cities, the archaic structures of lonely mountain hamlets, and dim souk alleys.
In 1962, the reconstruction of Agadir Morocco began as a seaside resort. Today Agadir is a tourist center with many hotels, restaurants, and leisure facilities.
The Boulevard Hassan II and the Boulevard Mohammed V, the two main thoroughfares, are lined with palm trees on both sides. Agadir Morocco, with over 25,000 hotel beds, is by far the largest tourist center in the country.
A large part of the population lives from tourism. The fish processing industry, the port, which is one of the most heavily handled in the country, and the cement works in the north-west of the city are also important.

Numerous storage castles and ksour as well as wonderful landscape panoramas can be seen on the route. A detour to the Ammeln valley is recommended.

The place is known for the almond blossom in February.
A good starting point for hikes and mountain tours.
Wednesday is market day.

The Weather in Agadir Morocco
Morocco offers a great climatic variety due to its long coast to the Atlantic Ocean and its mountain ranges that act as a climatic divide. The Atlantic coast has a mild, maritime climate all year round with only slightly fluctuating daytime temperatures. During the summer months, high fog can form in the coastal region in the mornings.

Agadir Airport
We have recently been able to offer charter flights from Morocco to Europe.
For example from Agadir to Frankfurt or Marrakech to Paris.
Of course, you can also book scheduled flights. However, charter flights are more interesting.
Sometimes these cost half of a scheduled flight.
For example, you can fly to Frankfurt with Condor from 230 euros per person.
Agadir – Entry requirements
Germans, Austrians, and Swiss do not need a visa to stay in Morocco for up to 3 months. Upon entry, the passport must be valid for 6 months. Drivers need the green insurance card marked “Valid for Morocco”.
When you enter Morocco (if you have not yet been to Morocco in the same year), you will receive a six-month customs permit for your car. Since your personal residence permit (stamp in your passport) is only valid for 3 months, you should arrange for an extension in good time if you want to stay in the country for longer than 3 months.
We recommend that you contact a police station (for example the Essaouira police station), where this is usually possible without any problems. The often proposed solution of leaving Morocco for a few days in order to return with a new residence permit is more cumbersome and can lead to unforeseen problems; be it,

Grand Taxi in Agadir Morocco
Beige Mercedes 10 years and older. These take you to places outside Agadir and also to many cities in Morocco.
You can either rent the whole taxi or take a shared taxi. A shared taxi means 6 people (2 in the passenger seat and 4 in the back seat). So if you use a taxi on your own you have to pay 6 seats. It is a bit uncomfortable to squeeze into the front passenger seat with two people or squeeze into the back seat with four. Why don’t you buy the two passenger seats and you’ll have a pleasant journey?
