Morocco Atlantic Coast Tour From Marrakech
6 days Morocco Atlantic coast tour: Essaouira and Agadir
Day 1: Marrakech – Essaouira
Our driver/guide will collect you in Marrakech at your Riad/Hotel for a trip to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. The beautiful city of Essaouira was founded by the Portuguese in the 16th Century. The city still retains the characteristics of Portuguese architecture. It is famous for its artisans and crafts. On arrival, you will enjoy an exceptional lunch fresh from the famous fishing harbor. Afterward, you will have ample time to explore and take in the wonders of the city, before dinner and overnight in your hotel.
Day 2: Essaouira – Agadir
After a typical breakfast, a departure from Essaouira towards Agadir. You will stop on the way to Sidi Kaouki beach for a swim if you wish to. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Morocco, with its extensive, golden dunes. You will travel along the coast to picturesque Taghazoute, a beach renowned for its surfing. On arrival in Agadir, you will be taken to your hotel and the evening is yours until dinner.
Day 3: Agadir – Sidi Ifni
The next part of the Atlantic Coast tour takes you to the Sidi Ifni, which was colonized by the Spanish. In addition, on the way, you will visit Tiznit, famous for its silversmiths and handmade jewelry. Traveling alongside the beaches of white sand, you arrive in Sidi Ifni for dinner and night in the hotel.
Day 4: Sidi Ifni – Tafraoute
Your Atlantic Coast tour continues to the Anti-Atlas, where argan groves stretch as far as the eye can see, to Tafraoute via Guilmim. The area is known for almond trees, argan oil, and babouches (a traditional Moroccan leather shoe). You will spend the night in a hotel in the colorful Amen Valley where you can enjoy a walk before dinner and bedtime.
Day 5: Tafraoute – Taroudante
In the morning, after a good breakfast, you will travel via Chtouka Ait Baha to Taroudant. Also known as ‘little Marrakech’ where you can admire the town with its ochre walls. Following a delicious traditional dinner, you can enjoy a good night in your hotel.
Day 6: Taroudante – Marrakech
Leaving Taroudant on the way back to Marrakech. However, you will travel via the Test Pass and see the Tinml, a Berber Mosque. After saying goodbye, you are free to visit Medina and Souk at your leisure.

We really enjoyed the ourika valley tour. The guides were great and executed the day perfectly. There was a driver and a hiking guide. We made a stop for a photo, then to a Berber village, then the hike to the waterfalls, and lastly a lunch stop by the river. The tour was limited to 8 people, and each person could chose how much they wanted to hike. I’d recommend it.

We were left completely speechless on this tour, everything was planned out perfectly we didn’t have to stress about anything. The food provided was delicious we were left very full after every meal. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful. Our driver Badre was one of the most humble souls we have met. He was very knowledgeable on every place we went to and we felt very safe with him. He was very kind and thoughtful, he took us for coffees, organised a nice romantic dinner for my partner and I, let us have a rest in his hotel room to shower/nap before we went to the desert , he even gave me his hat when I forgot mine. The tour could not have been any more perfect. We loved visiting Morocco 💕🥰

We had a wonderful day! Using a private tour - really just your group - makes sense, especially if you’re a family with young kids. We had total freedom to take a break, change our itinerary, take our lunch at leisure. Badre, our guide, was knowledgeable, patient and kind. He arranged for the guide to take us on the hike and even lent us cash, when we fell short (for lunch, at the village)Thanks!

Great Experience, Superb Hospitality & Organisation
Ali looked after us so well from the moment we arrived very hot and sweaty, to the day we left he went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed. He gave us the low-down on where to go and where not to go in Marrakesh and provided information about the local customs. We loved our chats with him about Moroccan life. His warm and welcoming personality make him the perfect host and we thoroughly recommend him. We'll definitely make sure that we catch up with him when we're in Morocco again.

I traveled to Marrakech last year (May 2018) with 3 friends and we met Ali there. His practical tips have been really helpful! This year (March 2019) my parents and another couple went to Marrakech and Ali organized for them a camel ride and a trip to the mountains. They loved the trips!!! The driver was really nice to them and always on time. They also book a private transfer from airport to riad. The driver was at airport with a panel saying their names when they arrived. Really good service 👍🏼
